Thurlo Fulks, 75, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Thurlo was born on January 17, 1944 in Mountain View, Arkansas to the late John and Drusilla (Helms) Fulks. Thurlo was a veteran of the United States Army National Reserve and was a skilled carpenter for 47 years. He was of the Pentecostal faith and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Thurlo is survived by his wife Brenda (Dayberry) Fulks; one brother, Richard Fulks; four sisters, Evelyn Patrick, Wilma Jean Lawrence, Helen Billingsley, and Pat Kocher; along with a host of nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.
Thurlo was preceded in death by his parents, John and Drusilla (Helms) Fulks; brothers, David Fulks, Ellis Fulks, and James Fulks; and sisters, Mildred Barham and Lavada Fulks.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 14, 2019, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brother Junior Barham and Brother Jim Wisehart officiating. Interment is at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Kevin Billingsley, Gary Fulks, Jay Lowrance, Lane Lowrance, Bryan Rose, Jake Robertson, R.J. Horton, and Brandon Kocher. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Avey, Andy Avey, Bobby Barham, Dennis Gates, Zachary Horton; as well as other nephews and great nephews.
