May 15, 1932 - March 19, 2019

Magdalene Chadwick, 86, of Mountain View, formerly of Big, Flat Arkansas entered into rest at her home on March 19, 2019. Magdalene was born on May 15, 1932 in Big Flat, Arkansas near Round Mountain to the late Garlis Columbus and Willie Faye (Sisk) Ramsey. Magdalene was a homemaker who cherished her family and was also a member of Love-N-Hope Church. Magdalene will be greatly missed by all of her beloved family and friends.

Magdalene is survived by four sons, Carl Wayne Chadwick and wife Connie of Big Flat, Arkansas, Keith Chadwick and wife Linda of Big Flat, Arkansas, Bendle Chadwick and wife Diana of Big Flat, Arkansas, and Rick Van Evera and family of Fifty Six, Arkansas; six grandkids, Tony Chadwick and wife Tammy of Fifty Six, Arkansas and mom Pam Hunt of Alabama, Carrie Lee and mom Pam Hunt of Alabama Cullan, Bo Cowan and wife Justine of Big Flat, Arkansas, Tamara Kay (Cowan) Patterson and husband Delbert of Mountain View, Arkansas, Taylor Chadwick of Big Flat, Arkansas, and Shay Chadwick House and husband Cody of Big Flat, Arkansas; thirteen great-grandkids; one brother, Hughlin Ramsey and wife Clara of Fifty Six, Arkansas, three sisters, Rose Ramsey Stephens and husband Bill of Vilonia, Arkansas, Gearldine Ramsey Broyles of Fox, Arkansas, and Aldene Ramsey Wallis Sutterfield of Big Flat, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Beth Stewart Ramsey of Big Flat, Arkansas and Lilly Treat Ramsey of Big Flat, Arkansas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and many more extended family and friends.

Magdalene was preceded in death by her dad, Garlis (Garfield) Columbus Ramsey; her mom, Willie Faye (Sisk) Ramsey; sister, Eunice Ramsey Ferguson; three brothers, HC Ramsey, Alvin Ramsey, and Roger Ramsey; brothers-in-law, Lavelle Ferguson, Asa Lawrence, Conley Broyles, Andy Wallis, and JD Sutterfield; one daughter-in-law, Faye Irene (Henry) Chadwick; and nephews Billy and Bobby Ramsey and Ronnie Ferguson.

Visitation for Magdalene will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. A graveside service will follow the visitation beginning at 3:30 PM at Treat Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas with Brothers Carl Mize, Carl Chadwick, and Tony Chadwick officiating.

Pallbearers are Tony Chadwick, Taylor Chadwick, Delbert Patterson, Roy Martin, Bo Cowan, and Cody House. Honorary pallbearer is Rick Van Evera.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
