Sheryl Lynne Irvine

of Mountain View, AR

June 3, 1948 - February 23, 2019

Sheryln Irvine, daughter of Nathan and Georgia Irvine, and granddaughter of Willis and Carrie Perry, and Richard and Hazel Irvine, all of Timbo, Arkansas, died Feb. 23, 2019. Sheryl was a folk singer, musician, artist, potter, and basket maker; she worked part-time for many years at the Ozark Folk Center. Sheryl was extremely talented and creative; she could always find unique ways of doing anything. Humble and kind, Sheryl thought about others before herself. She spent countless hours doing errands for her grandmothers in their last decades, and was a caring, loving daughter, sister, and friend.
Sheryln will be interred at the Timbo Cemetery on Saturday, June 15 at 11 am. Friends are welcome to join the family at this time to remember the joy that she gave us. Sheryl is now resting on the promises of God. Matthew 11:28

I just stumbled upon this while looking for cousins on my mother's side. Did Sheryl have any children or siblings? Thank you.

I did not know her personally, but I surely loved watching and listening to her at the Jimmie Driftwood Barn. Such a sweet voice and knew the old songs from way back. Will be missed so much. May the Lord be with you during this very difficult time to the family.
