Richard Tom Trabala, age 71 of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, June 18th, 2020 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Augsburg, Germany on January 16th, 1949 to Rudolf Trabala and Valeria Maindok Trabala.

Richard was a Vietnam veteran and served in the US Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Expert (Rifle) citation. He worked for Reliable Carrier's for many years hauling cars and many other interesting and unusual items. Richard loved his job and the many places his travels took him. He enjoyed fishing and being out on his boat. He was an excellent cook and liked to grill. Family meant the world to Richard, whether taking a vacation with them, dancing a jig with them or simply playing basketball with his grandson; they were his greatest joy.

Survivors include his daughter, Danielle Trabala of Marshall; two ladies he loved like daughters, Emily Brown and Phylicia Ragland; one grandson, Jace Larson of Marshall; and his "adopted" grandchildren, Kaison Brown, Emery Brown and Ashlynn Daniels.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolf and Valeria Trabala; and one brother, Edward Trabala.

It was a pleasure to serve Rich the past few weeks.. such a precious man. Love and prayers to the family as they mourn the loss.
