The last joyous memory I have of my primo hermano, David, is the time Elias Savala and I traveled to Amarillo,Texas, and spent several days visiting David, Gloria, Lydia, and Ralph. We rejoiced in each other's company singing, laughing, and walking down memory lane. As always David had all of us laughing with his special brand of humor. Not only are we primos hermanos (Tia Maria Perez Savala was my father's sister) but we are also brothers and sisters in Christ which makes our bond even stronger. The end of mortal existence cannot break the bond of "familia".

I am Gloria's youngest daughter and I share her beautiful name. I will forever miss my Uncle David. He always showed up at our house at dinner time. He knew my Mom would fill his belly any and every time he visited. Uncle David always had good stories to share and of course he always had an arsenal of funny stories too. His good spirit and hilarious demeanor will forever be missed. I Love you Uncle David.

Anytime my Uncle David showed up, it was a great time! Uncle David was always the center of attention, and kept everyone laughing. He was good to all of his nieces, nephews, and family, and is greatly loved by all of us! One of My favorite memories when I was young was getting together with my Dad, and uncles playing guitars and singing. We love and miss him! So sorry for your loss!
