Stephen James Knox, age 69 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at Baxter Regional in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 26th, 1950 to James Knox and Ruth Noakes Knox.
Stephen was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He served two years in the US Navy and seventeen years in the US Army. He served during the Vietnam Era. He worked in communications and artillery during his career in the Armed Forces. Stephen was very proud of his time spent serving our country and had a great love for his brothers in arms. He was a born again Christian and attended Marshall Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Lisa Diddle Knox of the home; one son, James E. Knox; sister, Michelle Cross of Wyoming; and many military brothers, other family and friends who will mourn his passing. Stephen is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Stephen James Knox Jr.
Funeral services for Stephen will be 11:00 Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 at Marshall Assembly of God Church with Bro. Phillip Clark officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as bearers. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers please make donations to Marshall Assembly of God Church in Stephen's name.
Lisa i am so sorry for your loss i loss my aunt Linda Feb 5th i know exactly what you aregoing through i'm going through it to it's so hard to give them up but we have to go on with are life i know they are at home and not suffering in pain anymore and we know some day soon we will reunite with all are love ones what an day that will be you are in my prayers.
So sorry to learn of Stephen's passing. Stephen was always willing to take an active part in the ceremonies to honor America's Veterans held here in our community. His friendship and caring attitude will be forever be missed by his fellow veterans, and all who knew him. Our prayers are with this family throughout this sad time.
