Judith and I were sad to learn of the loss of Charles. He was certainly one of the nicest guys I ever knew. I treasured our professional relationship as he was so kind to send many of his patients to me. He practiced a very high standard of medical care and I was privileged to share in his confidence.
I am remembering the times we spent with Charles and Sharon in the old medical dormitory. We are thankful to share the friendship of the Daniels family. Our warmest thoughts and sympathy to all the family---especially Sharon, Scott and his family: and James.
I think all the condolences posted speak to the character of Dr. Daniel. He truly was an outstanding physician and very compassionate and kind man. We were also blest to have him as our family doctor. We are so sorry for your loss.
Dr. Daniels saved my life when I was just a child. I had wrecked my bike and cut my throat on barbed wire. He stitched up my neck right there in his office on the square. Because of him I was able to have a life. I will remember him forever as a hero. I am so sorry for your loss and you will be in my prayers. I cannot ever thank him enough for my life.
So very sorry for the loss of not only your husband, but a great loss for the community and a man I always respected deeply and trusted sincerely. Prayers for you and your family throughout the future. May God comfort you with peace and healing.

I was very sad to hear of Dr Daniel‘s passing prayers for all of his family. He was my doctor from the time I was 16 to his retirement I have many fond memories. When his clinic was on the Square I remember his whistling I believe it was the road to Jericho. I remember when they lived close to my grandmother Theo Heard on Highway 27 next to the Lynn’s. He used to raise bird dogs. One time my dad Bill Lane cut the tip of his finger off while working on the house he was still in the Air Force Dr Daniel stitched it up and when he went to Little Rock Air Force Base the doctor asked who had done it that they had never seen a better job. They couldn’t believe he was a general practice doctor. Not only was he a great doctor he was a great person and I know I am not alone and saying I will miss him.
Sharon & Family, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Dr.Daniel. My prayers to you & your family. May the Lord give you all comfort & peace.

Marshall will miss his presence, as will the Methodist Church of Marshall. God Bless You All!

Sharon and family,
My heart is breaking for your family. I can not imagine the pain you must be feeling. Such a loving, kind Christian man who touched the hearts of everyone he met. He was a mighty disciple of God in all the ways he ministered to the needs of so many. His presence in Heaven will be a remarkable welcoming. We should all try too model our lives by his legacy. May God bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead. You are forever my heart and prayers. In love, Nancy

Dearest Daniel family
Dr. Daniel was a amazing doctor who healed, diagnosed, comforted, and helped many patients of Searcy County and beyond. He will be greatly missed.
Love is the way
To heal the broken heart
And love never sways
When tragedy makes its mark
Love is the key
To open closed doors
So pain can find release
And hurting is no more
Love is the answer
In the heart of Jesus,
He feels what we feel
And He will never leave us.
Sincerely
Leslie Jennings-Harper

Sharon, Tara, & Scott- we are sorry to hear of your loss. Charles was there for our families many times. Prayers for your family during this time.
I heard about it this morning & was shocked. I knew he had some heart trouble but never expected this. The archey deer camp will never be the same. He was as fine a man as you could ever hope to meet, active in Rotary & always willing to help people.
Good Bye my friend. We will all miss you. You are indeed very special. The deer at camp & lowering their heads at this moment to Honor you Sir.
Dr. Daniel is one of the most special people that I have ever met. Kind, considerate and compassionate. He is so beloved in this community and will be greatly missed.
Oh my goodness....I was checking the obituaries this morning because of my mom and saw this about Dr. Charles. I have so many memories of him... He was my doctor from the time I was 7 years old until his retirement. I sure do remember that whistling he did in his office. I remember going up to his office on Nome street when I was a kid. You would always know he was in the office because you heard that whistle. I remember him making house calls to our home when my dad was sick with cancer in the early 1970's. I remember him being present in her home when my grandmother Annis Walsh passed in 1982. He was always there when he was asked or needed. He always had a wonderful demeanor, and a smile on his face. I will surely miss him.
