Wilbur Gene Morrison, age 72 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on June 12th, 1947 to Archie Morrison and Bonnie May Horton Morrison.
Gene was a timber worker and cut logs for over thirty years. He also worked several years as a stone mason. Gene loved to hunt, fish, and dig ginseng. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Ann Ragland Morrison and to this union were born four children, Matina Morrison Middleton, Kara Gale Morrison Carter, Weston Scott Morrison and Sasha Rose Morrison; he is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sister, Brenda May Morrison Collins; brothers, Ronnie Morrison and Leasel Morrison; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Bonnie Morrison; and his siblings, Andy Morrison, Verlene Morrison McCoy, Archie Lee Morrison and Bennie Lee Morrison.
Graveside services for Gene will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 5th, 2019 at Grandview Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donald Ray Patterson officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM preceding the service at the graveside. Burial will follow. Honorary bearers will be Josh Collins, Seth Collins, Jay Jackson, Gene Wallis, Tristen Chadd and Juan Salazar.
