She was my great great aunt and I didn’t know her very well but I knew that she loved planting flowers, trees, bushes, anything and everything under the sun. I visited her when I was younger and I remember all the beautiful flowers she had and how much her and her husband were full of smiles and laughter. I don’t remember what all was said but she was sweet, kind, and a woman of God. I felt the presence of God at her house and at her visitation service. She lived close to where I lived and I loved seeing her flowers blooming. I wanted to know her more but glad I got to little I could.

Betty was a sweet and lively lady. She was my husband's great aunt. I got to know her a little better when her and OE would come to the senior center to ride the van. They would go to Harrison on Wednesdays and go bowling. She loved her family and would talk about them often. She will be missed by many.

While we were Ms. Betty's neighbors for almost 30 years, we didn't visit often but we always knew she was close by if we needed her. I always admired her green thumb and loved that she had something blooming in her yard almost year round. When we did get to visit we enjoyed her kindness, sincerity, and such a pleasant spirit. Heaven is a better place with her arrival, and I know it will be even more beautiful when her "green thumb" goes to work! Our sympathy to her family. God bless you all!
