Lorene Watts, age 90 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Neosho, Missouri on March 2nd, 1929 to Andy McFarlan and Eva Hembrie McFarlan.

Lorene attended the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to attend church and especially enjoyed the singing. She also enjoyed playing her guitar. Lorene was an excellent cook and could make the best chocolate rolls and pies. She was an avid quilter and seamstress. She liked her rose bushes. Lorene loved her family very much. Spending time with her grandchildren brought her much joy.

Survivors include her children, Don Watts and wife Lynn of Marshall, Nancy Campbell and husband Larry of Marshall, Vicki Horton and husband Todd of Marshall and Jessie Mae Stills and husband Deloin of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and one more on the way; one sister, Jean Preston of Tennessee; and one brother, Charlie McFarlan of Omaha.

Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Eva McFarlan; her husband, Jesse Watts who died in 1992; one daughter, Rita Vincent; and siblings, Walter, Willard, Bill, Melvin, Albert, Delbert, Dorothy and Juanita.

Funeral services for Lorene will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Clayton Lesley officiating. Special music will be performed by Linda Watts and Lynn Watts. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Craig Watts, Dalton Watts, Jesse Watts, Mark Campbell, Billy Horton, Corey Campbell, Trey Turner, Kyle Yarbrough and Jason Yarbrough. Great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.

I learned a lot from my Grandmother. The most important was unconditional love of family. That and to never cut down rose bushes even when Grandpa tells you to. She is going to be missed very much. I love you, Grandma. Make sure Papa and Mom behave themselves. I'll see you when I get there.

So sorry for your loss. Aunt Lorene was such a character. I loved her to pieces. Now she’s up in heaven with mom and the rest of her brothers and sisters. But the best, she’s with her Jessie!!! May she sing with the angels and walk with our Lord. Till we meet again.
