Brenda Elizabeth Reid, age 73 of Bull Shoals, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on July 2nd, 1945 to John Harness and Ann Adams Harness.

Brenda attended Leslie First Baptist Church when she lived in Leslie and often went to church with her daughter at East Lawn Baptist in Marshall. She worked for 35 years at Flintrock Shirt Factory in Marshall and worked for 9 years, off and on at Harps Market before her retirement. Brenda was an excellent cook and enjoyed crafting of all kinds. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her great-grandson.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Magby and husband Scott of Everton and Elizabeth Downhour of Pampa, TX; two step-children, Harvey Hall of Zinc and Jeanette Stills and husband Benny of Bergman; grandchildren, Sabrina Binam, Ashley Downhour and John Cronk; step-grandchildren, Kayla Smith and Randall Tucker; one great-grandson, Jaxson Binam; sisters, Norma Bryant and husband Billy of Mountain Home and Delories Strong, also of Mountain Home; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ann Harness; her husband, James O. Reid who passed away in 1998; sisters, Jewell Rolen and Genevia Burton; and son-in-law, Willie Downhour.

Graveside services for Brenda will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 at Harness Cemetery in Stone County, Arkansas with Bro. David Watts officiating. Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 PM preceding the service and will be held at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Honorary bearers will be Mike Burton, Phil Burton, Randy Rolen, Bill Bryant, David Bryant, Stetson Creamer and John Cronk.

I'm so sorry for you alls loss.Brenda was one of a kind..I'm so glad I got to visit with her at the hospital..She will be missed by many..May the Lord comfort you all.

Sorry for your loss girls, your mom was a good friend for along time, we had sort of lost touch for a while, but our friendship meant so much. We shared good and some bad times, I'll always love her. Prayers for you and your family.
