L.B. Reid, age 89 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, October 21st, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall. He was born in Searcy County, Arkansas on July 4th, 1929 to Lincoln Reid and Golda Brown Reid.

L.B. spent his working years as a logger in the timber industry. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved to fish and ride the four-wheeler with his grandkids.

Survivors include three step-children; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will mourn his passing.

L.B. is preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln and Goldie Reid; his wife Marjorie King Reid who passed away in 1995; his son, Ricky Reid; grandson, Isaac White; step-grandson, Shelton Horton; two sisters, Edna Woods and Nola Williams; and one niece, Mary Depriest.

Graveside services for L.B. will be 10:00 AM Friday, October 26th, 2018 at Red Hill Cemetery Pavilion in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday, October 25th, 2018 in Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Grant Chadwick, Josh White, Ryan Tinsley, Tim Tinsley, Bobby Joe Woods and Austin Tinsley.

I’m so very sorry to hear of L.B.’s passing. He had such a sweet spirit and kind eyes. Prayers to family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

I remember Mr. LB through the swap shop. A very kind and laid back guy, he will be missed in our community. My prayers are with you and your family during this time.
