Maxine (Snow) Ragland, age 88 of Marshall, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 10th, 2018 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Snowball, Arkansas on February 2nd, 1930 to Hollin Snow and Ruth (Dean) Snow.
Maxine married Arvel R. Ragland on June 14th, 1947. She enjoyed sewing, which she did for many years for family and friends. If you came to her house you had to eat! She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Nelson (Betty) Ragland of Harrison, Bethel (Bentley) Massey of Marshall, Jeff (Sheila) Ragland of Marshall and Tim (Jackie) Ragland of Harrison; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Ben Snow of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Freddie McBride of Tulsa, OK and Willie Harris of Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, Hollin and Ruth Snow; her husband, Arvel Ras Ragland who passed away in 2016; one grandson, Ryan Brock Ragland; and siblings, Donald Snow and Frances Chisum.
Graveside services for Maxine will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 13th, 2018 at Red Hill Cemetery near Marshall with Bro. Cody Ragland officiating. Pallbearers will be Nathan Ragland, Heath Massey, Brandon Massey, Jake Ragland, Grant Ragland and Quinton Ragland. Honorary pallbearers will be Bentley Massey, Drew Collins, Dillon Collins, Evan Collins, Gary Don Snow and Tom Collins.
