Sheila Marlene Phillips Reeder, 67, of Mabelvale, AR peacefully went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She is survived by her children Cheryl L. White (Brittany) of Mabelvale, Jason E. Green of Little Rock, stepson Timothy M. Dennis of Bryant, grandchildren Alexander Gibbins (Jessica) of Hot Springs, Matthew Green (Jada) of Mabelvale, Samantha Reeder (Josh) of Mabelvale, Justin Reeder of Denver, CO, Kyle Reeder of Little Rock, Robyn Reeder of Little Rock, Ivy Dennis of Bryant, & Jackson Dennis of Bryant, five great-grandchildren & a large host of family & friends.

She is preceded in death by her former husband & lifelong companion, Miles B. Reeder, her parents William & Josephine Phillips, grandparents Roscoe & Ruby Dobbs, stepsons Timothy Reeder & Rocky Reeder & special niece Crystal Tessman.

Sheila worked most of her life as a bookkeeper & tax preparer, including her work with her husband's businesses. She owned Alpha Tax & Bookkeeping until her health made it necessary for her to retire. Sheila also worked in the construction industry, property management & drove a semi cross country for several years. Additionally, she & her mother owned a ceramic business & made custom jewelry. She was an amazing artist & was exceptionally creative.

Sheila was very strong in her faith & had a close, personal relationship with God. She took a great deal of comfort in prayer & prayed daily for her family & loved ones. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, jewelry, & photography. She loved her little dog Scooter, who was her constant companion.

Anyone who knew her experienced her kindness & caring nature. She was always eager to help others, & she loved to give gifts & lend whatever she had. She was loved beyond measure & will be greatly missed.

Graveside memorial service will take place at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Pinecrest Cemetery, in Alexander, AR followed by a gathering of family & friends to celebrate her life at her childhood home in Little Rock.
