Jeanett McCumpsey, 93, went to heaven October 1, 2019, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, always taking care of everyone. She was a pillar of the community and with her church family. She loved fishing, gardening and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Jennie Thomas; her husband, Bill McCumpsey; a son Glenn; and brother and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Jerrell (Joyce), her daughter in law, Bella McCumpsey; her four grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to many family members, especially, Rita and Marie, for all your help and care. Also, to the Sheridan Nursing and Rehab Staff, the Saline Memorial Hospice and Arkansas Hospice.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 5, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel. 10900 I 30, Little Rock, AR., with pastor Sidney Thompson officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service with burial following the service at Ironton Cemetery. Lunch will be provided after the service for family and friends at Ironton Baptist Church.

AUNT JEANETT WAS OUR FAMILY CARETAKER. ALWAYS THERE WHEN SOMEONE NEEDED HER.
WE THANK GOD FOR THE TIME WE HAD WITH HER.
SHE IS CELEBRATING WITH ALL THOSE SHE CARED FOR!

So sorry to have to let her go. She was one of a kind who will be missed by so many. The last of her birth family and the end of an era. Rest in Peace Jeanette. I will never forget you.
