Robert Lee Ward of Little Rock passed away on September 5, 2019, at the age of 84. Robert was born March 7, 1935, to James and Dortha "Opie" Ward in Bee Branch, Arkansas. He was a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, watching professional bull riding, and spending time with family and friends. He was a mentor to many and UR (Uncle Robert) by many who loved him. Robert was in the US Navy and stationed on the USS Antietam.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Adams Ward, daughter Lee Ann Gourley, stepdaughters Amy Brewer (Michael), Heather Lowrey (Shawn), and 10 grandchildren who he loved and adored.
Services will be held at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 11 am and visitation is at 10 am. Pastor Jeff Dial will be doing the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Life Line Baptist Church 7601 Baseline Rd, Little Rock AR 72209.

So sorry for your loss, Margaret. We're going to miss him too. I never had a better "Buddy" than Robert. When my time comes, I hope to meet him again.
