Bobby was my friend from our time on the swimming team through our sax-playing time in the band. I admired him, a really good guy.

Mr. Robert was such a sweet, kind, and nice man. I worked with him a short time at the Arkansas Department of Health before he retired. He was always pleasant and kind to me and I will miss his presence and beautiful spirit. My prayers are with his family, friends, coworkers, and others who he touched along the way. May God bless and strengthen all of you, give you peace, comfort, and understanding during this difficult time.

Robert was always of gentle demeanor at work. He would flash a big, welcoming smile each time he saw you. He always made time to speak kindly. He loved his family fiercely... through all trials and tribulations. He approached everything steadfastly and calmly. Admirable qualities for us to emulate.

I worked with Robert for about 3 years and it was a joy. He was always full of joy to be around. We would work and talk about classes in Business Object. If I had any questions about anything he was always very helpful. He will be missed. Every time I come down the hallway in our work area I expect to see him come down the hallway with a big smile. " Robert" you will be missed by all your co-workers and love ones. I believe my life is better for knowing him. Laura

I met Robert 3 years ago almost to the day of writing this. He met me at the front desk of the Dept. of Health, took me to my new work area, and immediately began sharing the vast amount of knowledge that he had amassed about the computer system we were charged with maintaining.

He taught me daily in his quiet, methodical way. Every time I began to think I knew more than he did, he would just smile and wait for me to realize my mistake. But he never criticized or lost patience, just gave me that smile and a chuckle.

Michele (my wife) met Robert at my mother's funeral and was immediately taken by his gentle, caring heart. She quickly came to understand why her husband had become such close friends with Robert. She came to share that friendship as well.

Michele always said he was a joy to be around and always looked forward to our visits. This is a great loss for both of us.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family in their loss.

Few things in life will ever affect us more than the death of a parent.  Not only do we have to endure the intense pain of loss but we are also left to face a future that will be likely quite different from what we expected.  The Bible assures us that death will be no more.  May you find that such promise will help you cope with the loss of your Father. My deepest sympathy to each of you.

My condolences to Robert's family and friends. Worked with Robert at DIS for number of years and called him a friend. I lost touch some after 2003 but I still tried to call him when I could. Wish I had been able to go visit him these last few years. He will be dearly missed.

And with your final heartbeat
Kiss the world goodbye
Then go in peace, and laugh on Glory's side, and
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus
Fly to Jesus and live!
