William Monroe ''Bill'' Morton, age 89 of Little Rock, Arkansas made Heaven even sweeter for us all by passing from this world on March 4, 2019. He was born in Swifton, Arkansas on August 26, 1929 to Burl and Emma Hardin Morton. Bill was a devoted Christian and proud Mason that was truly blessed with a servant's heart, touched the lives of many people and set an example daily for all of us to follow. Bill was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Mabel Lucinda Hulen Morton; three children, Cindy Cross (Ronnie) of Fort Worth, TX, Jim Morton (Judy) of Little Rock, AR and Hulen Morton (Sharron) of Cabot, AR; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Russell (Jamie), Michael (Brandi) and Melanie (Paul); three great-grandchildren, Brantlee, Abigale and Brody; two brothers, Virgil and Leon and one sister, Dathine and numerous other family members and friends who were family to him.
A visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at The Church at Willow Beach, 11200 US 165, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, March 8, 2019 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR (501) 455-5800 with Brother Roy Tilley officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Military Honor's.
What a celebration must be taking place in heaven! Loved Bro. Bill dearly. What an example he was of a selfless servant. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him. Prayers for Ms. Mabel and family.
