Oh Uncle Dave, my heart is broken. I miss you so so much. Nobody really understands how broken I feel. I never thought this day would come. I never realized how close we really were until this nightmare came. Please keep your hands on me and the kids and protect us always. Please show me a sign so I can gain comfort in knowing your still with me. I love you more than I could ever say and I’m sorry I never told you that. Please know I do more than anything and this is one of the hardest things I’ve had to go thru. Gone but Never forgotten. I’ll never let the kids forget you. R.I.P and fly high and please stay close to us. I’m begging you. I love you so much...

David was always so polite when he lived near me and he would sand at his yard with his long hair blowing in the wind, always had a smile and a wave. RIP to you my friend

Words can’t express how sorry I am for the family’s loss! There will sure never be another with such a huge warm heart and wonderful sense of humor. To me growing up he was always one of my Uncle Reds “cool friends”. Didn’t realize how cool he really was til I was long past grown. Rest easy my friend. My deepest prayers and condolences to all the family.
