Kermit Gerald Russell, 95, passed away October 30, 2019, in Andover, Kansas.
He was born December 2, 1923, to the late, Ozier Elmer and Ida Merica Russell (Moody) in Iuka, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Mary Louise Ferguson, on March 7, 1952.
Kermit is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; a son, Joe Russell and wife Suzie; a daughter, Cheryl McCabe and husband, Gregg; grandchildren: Jake McCabe and wife, Celeste, Kelsey McClasky and husband, Matt, Jedd Russell and Katie Russell; and three great grandchildren: Oliver, Allison and Simon McCabe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ozier Elmer and Ida Merica Russell; one brother, Keith Russell; one sister, Verna Lewis and one nephew, Bill Lewis.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, at Halls Chapel Cemetery in Jordan, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jake McCabe, Jedd Russell, Matt McClasky, Kenneth Lewis, James Acklin and Noble Lewis. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Russell, Don Green, Dick Lewis, Pete Lewis and Bill Lewis.
