The thing that I remember the most about "Little" Henry (as he was called in the family) was that he always had a smile on his face. Henry pursued life with vigor and was quite successful considering his modest beginnings. He liked to fish and hunt, play chess and tell stories. He was also a successful business man and well known in the community. I treasure the good memories.
Mr Henry, you were a true treasure and a pleasure to know. I met him after knowing Sharon for years. I was working at the time for Powell True Value and he would come to pick up repair items, he was someone that instantly made you smile when you saw him. Over the years I was proud to visit any time I saw him in town and at the movie theater. He was kind to people and will be missed!! Rest in peace with your sweetheart...my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. Faith
Henry was one of my bosses at both theaters in town, I still can’t believe he is gone. It feels like just yesterday I took my daughter to go and see him. I’m not only going to miss seeing him at work every once in awhile, but also hearing him call me “kid-o.†No matter how old I got, every-time he seen me he would always say, “how you doing kid-o,†and it never got old. Although you are gone, you will not be forgotten.
To all the family, I'm so sorry to hear of Henry passing away. I remember him as I grew up. Our old neighborhood family is about gone. I pray the Lord will comfort you.
Our thoughts and prayers to you Tammy, and the rest of your family. Henry will surely be missed.
