Marian Louise Phillips, age 76, of Mountain Home passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Mountain Home. She was born to Royal and Liberty (Taylor) Carr on October 20, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois.
Marian was very family oriented and very much a people person. She loved family gatherings and organizing events at the Baxter Retirement Village where she was a very active member. She also loved birds especially hummingbirds.
She is survived by her three daughters: Kathy Robins of Mountain Home, Linda (James) Parish of Mountain Home, Patricia Wood of Mountain Home; seven grandchildren; Robert Caprisecca, Desiree Underwood, Lance Parish, Brandon Robins, Michael Robins, Amber Wood, Chance Wood; several great-grandchildren; one brother: William Carr and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Charles Phillips; her parents; one sister and two brothers.
A visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Nazarus Maduba as celebrant. Interment will be held at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery following the services.
