Mr. Joe G. Deatherage,Sr., age 83, of Mountain Home passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 in Flippin, Arkansas. He was born July 4, 1936 to Elmer and Gertrude (Sisney) Deatherage in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Joe proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from California First Bank as a Warehouse Supervisor. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, fishing, listening to country music especially Ray Price. His greatest delight was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Deatherage of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sons, Joe Deatherage, Jr. (Isabelle) of Richland, Missouri and Michael Deatherage of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one daughter, Susan (Tony) Welch of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Naomi Tevebaugh.

Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 30, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. A graveside with military honors will be Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Baxter Memorial Garden.
