Lawrence Leon Watson, age 73, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 03, 2019 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born on August 22, 1945 to Arlus and Stella Watson (McClung).
Lawrence was a truck driver for 32 years before he retired. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of the VFW Post #3246. On November 06, 2009 he married Louise Martin and they were together for 9 years before he passed.
He is survived by his wife Louise of the home, sister in law Opal (Charles) Wensel of Gassville, brother in law Lonnie (Tammy) Martin of Gassville, and brother in law Lester Martin of Mountain Home. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Veleta ''Vicki'' Watson, one brother Albert Watson, and one sister Bernice Duncan.
A funeral service will be held Sunday July, 07, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Roller Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Baxter Memorial Gardens following the funeral.

Lou, we are sorry about losing Lee, we know how hard it was going to see him suffering but now he is in better place and out of pain.

When I worked Monday nights at the VFW here in Mountain Home, AR, it was always such a pleasure to talk to Lee after the monthly post meeting. Always smiling, always kind. I will miss him. Deepest sympathy to you, Lou, and the rest of your family.
