I am so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Boynton was one of my favorite teachers and also my shot put in Middle School. He was always so thoughtful, when he learned that my older brother Nate had joined the Marines, he always asked on how he was doing or where he was stationed at.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all!
I’m very sorry to read about Dave in today’s paper. I’m sending my condolences to you Brenda and your family. Dave was a fun guy and I enjoyed him when you lived in the Bettendorf, Iowa area.

Brenda and family,
I am writing in sincere sympathy for your loss of Dave. I was a colleague of his at Bettendorf, and my son Nate was one of his many students. Every time I think of Dave I smile. I was not at Middle school with him, but I taught at the elementary level. When we had meetings, I always tried to sit by Dave! He always made me laugh!! :-) I loved his dry sense of humor!!! He made those meetings tolerable. I still have my sons clay pieces sitting out that he created with Dave. Again I am so sorry for your loss. He is fishin in heaven! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Lou Ann and Nate Hoskins
So sorry for your loss. Dave will be someone I will always remember. He taught me so much more than how to throw a pot.

Deepest condolence from the Trimbles. Mr. Boynton (I still can’t call him ‘Dave’) is unforgettable as a teacher and a friend. Our Dad treasured their friendship and admired him greatly. The laughs they shared no doubt still echo in the halls of Middle School. Wishing all of you lucky enough to love him, peace.
All our love and prayers and this time of sorrow. Jim and I once we heard cried and then smiled and laughed about all our memories at the Cousins Picnics'
Brenda and Family,
We are so sorry to hear the news about Dave. He was a great teacher, coach, mentor, and friend. Our prayers are with you.

Rest In Peace Coach, I will always remember your quick wit, love of fishing and patience in trying to teach middle schoolers how to throw a pot! Prayers to your family for comfort and happy memories.
Dear Brenda,
My daughter and I want you to know how sad we are to hear of Dave's passing. May he rest in peace.
Ann (Thuenen)Johns and daughter Jane.
I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing and extend my condolences to his family. I have had the pleasure of being his barber for the last few years and will miss seeing him in the shop.
Brenda and Family, Please accept our condolences and sympathies on the passing of Dave. Dave had a great impact on me as a coach and teacher. He always gave me more time as a coach than I could ever ask for. He also let me stay in his Ceramics class for my whole 8th grade year which I really enjoyed. I will miss Mr. Boyton a lot. The world is a better place for Dave being here. Best Wishes on the behalf of the McCutcheons'.
So sorry to hear this news Brenda, we had a lot of fun together up on Nokay Lake. We have missed you two the last few years.
Sending you a hug.
