Hiram Junior Tucker, age 88, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday November 30, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on August 12, 1930 in Gassville, Arkansas to Hiram and Rena (Lamb) Tucker. On April 27, 1956 he married the love of his life Florence Hensley and they were married for 59 years until she passed away on January 08, 2016.
Hiram managed Garnett Auto Supply in Derby, Kansas for 38 years before retiring. Hiram loved nothing more than driving around the countryside in his Ford Escort and was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Terry (Susan) Tucker of Byhalia, Mississippi; one daughter, Sherri (Brian) Haas; five grandchildren: Jared Haas, Bryce Haas, Sarah Morehead, Joshua Tucker, Elizabeth Rosa; three great-grandchildren: Thomas Rosa, Dax Morehead, William Rosa; one sister, Ima Mckee; one brother, David Lee Tucker. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; siblings; Grady Tucker, Rex Tucker, Arville Tucker, Velma Bell, Inez Summers, Bertha Jones, and Leon Tucker.
A visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home on Saturday December 01, 2018 from 3 pm to 4 pm. Funeral services will be following the visitation with Pastor Roy Crane officiating. Interment will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Whiteville Baptist Church. Tucker was a wonderful man. He worked at Garnett Auto Supply in Derby Kansas with my father Don Alumbaugh’s. He had a wonderful smile and was always up beat. REST IN PEACE MY Friend
