Mrs. Wanda Lou Newcomb, 72, of Gassville passed away May 26, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born March 12, 1946 in Gassville to James Rudolph and Fannie Dorris (Hopper) Marler.
Mrs. Newcomb enjoyed dancing, music and meeting people. It could be said that she never met a stranger. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Alanis Rae Nelson.
Mrs. Wanda Newcomb is survived by two sons, Bobbie Joe Nelson of Gassville, Darren Lee Newcomb of Gassville, seven grandchildren, one sister, Barbara Adams of Gassville, three brothers, JC Marler of Gassville, Danny Marler of Gassville, Rodger Marler (Joan) of Gassvile and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Roberts of Gassville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and a world of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ray Dean Newcomb, two husbands, Bobbie Ray Nelson and Carl Lee Newcomb, one brother, Lonnie Marler and one sister, Nona Lee Marler,
A visitation will be held at the Roller Funeral Home Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 12-9 PM, with family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Roller Funeral Home Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Estel Gregg officiating. Interment will be held at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Gassville.

My sincere condolences to Wanda's family and friends. The video memorial is a wonderful testament to a loving, close-knit family that will be there to support each of you with loving arms, tears and laughter as you remember special times shared and morn your loss. May God be with you all.
Wanda was a very good person I am so glad I got to become friends with her we laughed and had so much fun together she will be missed greatly we all loved her like family I am sorry for your loss may God bless you and your family sending prayers to you all
