I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your husband and father. May you look to the Bible for encouragement and the comfort during this difficult time. Please look forward seeing Kenton again when, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." --Revelation 21:4.
Kenny, We are so sad that you lost your Father. We knew how special your relationship with him was. Our parents are our biggest fan club. This is a big loss for you and your family. Our hearts go out to you.
So sorry for your loss, Kenton always had a smile and made the day brighter with it. May the lord be with you all.
Carolyn I pray for you at this sad time in your life. Just remember that of all the things Kenton did in his life, marrying you was his greatest accomplishment.
I had the honor of conducting the Military Honors Ceremony for Kenton. The first ceremony I did as Chaplain for Alley-White Post 52 of the American Legion was for Ron Rae in 2007. I wanted to say something personal about Ron, but I didn’t know him. The morning of the funeral I met Kenton on the road as I was walking. Kenton told me he was going to a funeral that afternoon, and I said I was too. We were both going to Ron’s funeral. Kenton told me that he and Ron had been friends for many years. He said he was a very good man. At the funeral I said that I didn’t know Ron but that my neighbor Kenton Treat said he was a very good man, and in my book if you have Kenton Treat’s approval you can take it to the bank. I believe that, and I am honored to be considered his friend. He has certainly been a blessing to his family and friends, and to the whole Twin Lakes Area.
