I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your husband and father. May you look to the Bible for encouragement and the comfort during this difficult time. Please look forward seeing Kenton again when, "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." --Revelation 21:4.

I had the honor of conducting the Military Honors Ceremony for Kenton. The first ceremony I did as Chaplain for Alley-White Post 52 of the American Legion was for Ron Rae in 2007. I wanted to say something personal about Ron, but I didnt know him. The morning of the funeral I met Kenton on the road as I was walking. Kenton told me he was going to a funeral that afternoon, and I said I was too. We were both going to Rons funeral. Kenton told me that he and Ron had been friends for many years. He said he was a very good man. At the funeral I said that I didnt know Ron but that my neighbor Kenton Treat said he was a very good man, and in my book if you have Kenton Treats approval you can take it to the bank. I believe that, and I am honored to be considered his friend. He has certainly been a blessing to his family and friends, and to the whole Twin Lakes Area.
