Mary Cooper Worley, 95, of Jonesboro, was born January 6, 1925 to William Jackson and Verda Mae (Best) Cooper in Cash, AR, and passed on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. In 1942 she moved to Jonesboro, and then on to Michigan in 1943 at age 18, where she worked at the Ford Bomber Plant and then for several years owned her own beauty salon. Mary always had a keen interest in home fashion and art and was proud of her collection of hand made pottery. She enjoyed reupholstering and refinishing furniture. She also spent time assisting and caring for family members. In February of 1986, following Donald's retirement, Mary and Donald moved to Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Mary is survived by her husband, Donald H. Worley, whom she married on October 24, 1949. She also is survived by two sons, Stephen D. Worley and David W. (Rena) Worley; and one granddaughter, Savannah E. Worley.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Sunday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Aveue in Jonesboro. Visitation will begin at 1 pm until time of service. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear masks when entering.

Uncle Don and family,
I was sad to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. Wish we could have been there for the service. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Much love to you all. Rest in peace Aunt Mary.
