August 8, 1940 - June 3, 2020

Geraldine Louise Finley, 79, of Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born August 8, 1940 in the Shady Grove community to Oscar W. and Beatrice (Harold) Williams.

Geraldine attended the First Baptist Church in Bay and loved Painting. She was retired from General Electric.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers, Joe Williams and Robert Williams.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Luther Finley; her father; and a sister, Velma Williams.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines.

All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort help you during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would intervene to solve all mankind’s problems even sickness and death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).

Sweet, sweet Geraldine. We miss you so much already. You were as rare and pure of heart as anyone comes. We are so sorry, Uncle Oscar, that you have lost yet another of your children. Much love.
