David Keith McQuay, 56, of Bono, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born June 28, 1963, in Jonesboro to Clifford McQuay and Joyce Alexander Lucy.
David worked as roofer until his passing. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Joyce Lucy; step-mom, Ellen McQuay; the one true love of his life and mother of his children, Beth McQuay-Grant; sons, David Shannon (Ronni) McQuay and Brooke (Jordan) McQuay; daughter, Tedi McQuay; grandchildren, David Halen McQuay, Amelia Sloan McQuay, and Knox Wayne McQuay; brothers, Clifford McQuay, Jr., Mike McQuay, John Roberts, and Ray Lucy, Jr.; and sister, Tami Poe.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home. There are no services scheduled at this time.
There will be a potluck Friday March, 13, 2020 at 3 pm at Dave's Dawg House, 310 S. Pruitt St, in Paragould.
I’m so sad to hear of Dave’s passing. He and his family were so good to me when I lived there and went to the Dawg house. Always a good time! Even let me crash at their house once! Great guy.
I love you Dave, you were a good friend to me. You were a good friend to all of us.
