Mr. Charlie Higgins, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born November 8, 1938 in Vardaman, Mississippi to Christopher "C.C." and Beedy Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and he was a farmer. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play, watching sports and the St. Louis Cardinals and going to the Crowley's Ridge Round-Up. Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Ella Jean Brown and Mary Lee Miller; one brother, Willie Dee Higgins. Survivors include his wife, Mary Higgins; sons, Dr. Cliff (Leiandrea) Higgins and Kevin (Amy) Higgins; grandchildren, Sydney, Nathan, Landon, Ashlyn, Kendal, Alaina; brothers, John Henry Higgins of Tyronza and James Ruben Higgins of Waverly, TN. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 3, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home at 1:00pm with Dr. Glen Putman and Bro. Grey Falanga officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyronza Cemetery. Pallbearers are Floyd Green, Patrick Green, Bill Orr, Ronald Tacker, Keith Tacker and Bro. Patrick Tucker. Visitation precedes the service at 11:30am.
