James Lee (Jim) Hoffman, Jr., 68, of Jonesboro left this walk of life Thursday, November 7, 2019. Born November 11, 1950 to James Lee and Bonnie Hoffman in Jonesboro, he was a member of the Airport Road Baptist Church, a 1969 Jonesboro High School Graduate and St Bernards Groundskeeper for 29 years. He loved fishing and wrestling.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Joyce (Freeman) Hoffman; sister-in-law, Ozella (Kenneth) Rowland; brothers-in-law, Stanley (Pam) Freeman and Manuel (Vera) Freeman and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Macedonia Cemetery (off of Hwy 351 on CR 712) with Glenn Hurst and Rodney Manley officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be members of St. Bernards Engineering Department.
Lasting memorials may be made to Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews, Jonesboro, AR 72401 or the American Cancer Society.
James was a special friend to Fred and me. He will be missed!
Jim was a good Christian man. Loved God with all his heart. Sorry to hear he passed, he had a long hard fight now he is resting in the arms of Jesus.
