Joni Hope Barker, 63, of Lake City, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born October 12, 1956 in Jonesboro to Arthur and Gretha (Mize) Cambron. Joni worked for Sam's Club and was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed mowing, canning and crocheting.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Cambron.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Robert H. Barker; sons, Mitchell Coleman; step son,Robert H. Barker II; daughters, Milisa (Brandon) Haggenmacher, Tabatha (Ben) Wright; step daughter, Beverly Barker; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, Mark, Jerry, Walter and Nathan Cambron; sister, Bonnie Davis, Kay Byard and Pat Ridenhour.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Ricky Forbus officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Cemetery in Lunsford. Pallbearers will be Robert H. Barker II, Robert H. Barker III, Jacob Wright, Blake Coleman, Mark Cambron and Herb Davis.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service.
RIP Joni you will be greatly missed my big sis I love you so much I may not got to tell you often enough but when I saw you at Farmers Market I made sure to tell you how much I loved you. There won't be a day that goes by that I won't think about you an the memories that we shared together. You got your angel wings so fly high sis for one day we will meet again

I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have known Joni for a long time. I will miss talking to her at Sam's. She was a great person . I couldn't come to visitation or funeral I had to work today.

Tabitha, I write this with great sorrow for you and all your family. It seems yesterday that Joni was in Sam's working, and then BAM!! shes sick. I had no idea. you couldn't tell by how hard she worked. Give my best to all and I will keep you all in my prayers
