Wanda G. Grimmer, 79, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Compassion Center of Jonesboro. She was born July 21, 1940, to Robert Gray and Myrtle Duke Oxner in Marianna, Arkansas. Wanda was a member of the Refuge Assembly of God and owner of Wanda's Flowers/Gifts and Cranberry Merchant. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, and sewing.
Preceding Wanda in death were her parents; sisters, JoAnn Deiss and Patsy Butler; and daughter-in-law, Eberle Burke Grimmer.
Her survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, William E. Grimmer, Jr.; sons, W.E. "Bubba" (Donna) Grimmer III and Lyle (Christie) Grimmer; daughters, Cindy (David) Herron, Celia (Robert) Wooten, and Tebrah (Mike) Stephenson; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held 10:00 am, Friday, September 20, 2019, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave Jonesboro, Arkansas with Jeffery Hickman and Matt Smith officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bo Wooten, Daniel Herron, Dustin Herron, Weston Herron, Heath Stephenson, and Matt McCoy, and Bobby Myers will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
