Dorothy Standefer, 84, of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lexington Place. She was born October 19, 1934 in Cash, AR to Claude Henry and Mildred Lorena Butler Elrod. Mrs. Standefer worked as a clerk and as a cook. She was of the Baptist belief and was a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Mrs. Standefer was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Alton, Chester and Jack Elrod; and two sisters, Alice (J.C.) Hicks and Winnie (Bill) Hargrave.

Survivors include her son, Dana Standefer of Brownsburg, IN; a daughter, Cheryl Standefer of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Kate (Chris) Keller and Jordan Standefer; and one great grandchild, Wyatt Keller.

A memorial visitation will begin at 2 pm Saturday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Danny Elrod officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen, Dept. 41831, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
