Morris Gilliam, 83, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, February 2, 2019 at the Lakeside Nursing Center. He was born May 27, 1935 in Jonesboro to Lloyd Edward and Corrine (Morgan) Gilliam. Morris was a carpenter all of his life and was of the Church of Christ belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Doyle Gilliam.

Survivors include his son, Chris (Sharon) Gilliam; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Merle Gilliam and sister Faye Jeanine Gilliam.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Patrick, Derek, Zander Gilliam, Luther Smith, John Smith, John Blann and Roger Bailey.

Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home is in charge of services.
