of Jonesboro, AR
March 11, 1940 - January 16, 2019
Robert "Bob" E. Kibler, 78, of Jonesboro passed away January 16, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. He was born March 11, 1940 in McPherson, Kansas to George and Irene Kibler.
Bob is survived by Jody, his wife of 52 years; sons, Robert "R. J." (Sheri) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Ryan (Kristal) of Jonesboro; grandsons, Robert of Thornton, CO, Colton (Mallory) of Jonesboro, Brody (Aynabeth) of Memphis, Slade and Jagger of Jonesboro, as well as step-grandsons, Aaron of Jackson, MS, and Brock of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, he also leaves behind his Medic One family.
Bob was a multi-talented man. He was a gifted horseman who trained National Champion Arabians, owned a grocery store and trucking company. He was also a gifted mechanic and was responsible for setting up and supervising the shop at Medic One Ambulance.
Bob was an "old school" cowboy. He lived each day with courage, believed in working hard and finishing what you start. He believed that when you gave your word you kept it. He could speak volumes with few words and you always felt lifted up with around Bob. He didn,t judge....just loved. If he raised his voice it was in laughter from a good joke. His grandsons tried to share a joke every day. Bob would take the best material and share it over and over and over again.
Bob took great pride in his sons and loved attending all of his grandsons' sports activities. He loved to travel and had a passport filled with stamps from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Iceland, South America and every- where in between creating lasting friendships wherever he went. He believed in his Lord and savior and looked forward to his last journey, no passport required.

It is only right to celebrate Bob’s life - because that is what he would want us to do. I am thankful for what time I had with him while he was here with us ~ and, Jody, just know that Bob is watching over you and is still smiling as he always did. May the peace of the Lord be with all of you.
May you find strength in the Lord at this difficult time. Prayers for you and your family.
