Joann Patricia Turnbo, 83, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 29th, 2019. She was born in England, Arkansas September 27th, 1935 to Claud Hoyt Black and Beulah Mae Holshouer Black.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years: Al Turnbo; two brothers: Darrell Black and Bill Rowland.
She is survived by a son: Alan (Susan) Turnbo of Cabot, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Amanda (Richard) Morris of Maumelle, Arkansas and Kirk (Kathryn) Turnbo of Cabot, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren: Lucy, Fletcher, and Sullivan Morris of Maumelle; Emma and Archer Turnbo of Cabot; one sister: Jane Griffin of England; special niece, Judy Tanksley; and great-niece, Michelle Wyatt. Also, several nieces, nephews and extended family,
Joann was a dump truck driver for years and a homemaker. She loved her kitty babies, flowers, travel and her family. She was member of Landmark Baptist Church in England, Arkansas.
Services for Joann will be Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at 1:00 P. M. at Roller England Funeral Chapel (501)842-3939. Bro. David Inzer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Arkansans Assisting Homeless Animals (AAHA), P. O. Box 5084, Cabot, Arkansas 72023.

First let me say: I never knew Ms. Joann name was Patricia, and she never told me. It could be the reason we connected, she always insisted on me driving her new vehicle when she came to the Revenue Office to license it. She & Ms. Jane are the reason that I put pepper on my French fries now; we never ran out of conversation. When I seen her in Kroger and even the last time we talked in the Nursing Home she would remember me and I will NEVER forget her. Prayers goes out to her entire Family.
