Charles Arlen Shipley, Sr., 85, of Tucker, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord March 3rd, 2019. He was born in Mount Braddock, Pennsylvania on December 19th, 1933 to Stanley Ray Shipley, Sr. and Margaret Spears Shipley.
He is preceded in death by his wife Louise Marie Shipley, his parents, brothers Paul, Clyde, Harold, and Stanley and his sisters Dorothy and Glendora.
He is survived by his children Louise V. Stanton, Charles A. Shipley, Jr., Margaret Marie Trigo, and James Ray Shipley, Sr. Charles had 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He mentored and led many teams and engineers as a Project Manager of various power plants throughout the U.S. He loved to travel the world and spend quality time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and loved to entertain friends and family. He left a legacy of unconditional love and importance of family, hard work, and perseverance which will live through his children and grandchildren.
Services will be held at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel (501) 842-3939 on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 3:00 P. M. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 6-8:00 P.M. also at Roller England Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas.
