Maxine Fisher, 92, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 6th, 2018. Maxine was born July 7, 1926 in England, Arkansas to Lawrence Culpepper and Mattie Hughes Culpepper.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of sixty-five years, James W. Fisher and a daughter: Linda L. Horne. She is survived by one son: Steve (Damona) Fisher of Little Rock, Arkansas and one daughter: Angela Gail Fisher of Quitman, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Maxie Claypool of North Little Rock, Hank Fort (Tena) of Humnoke, Annette Harrison of Benton, and Jessica Bolen of Quitman; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Maxine was a homemaker who made the best fried chicken and chocolate pies. She loved to sew and was the Queen of Tops in Arkansas. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in England and was custodian there for twenty-five years.
The family asked that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205 or Landmark Baptist Church, P. O. Box 177, England, Arkansas 72046.
Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2018 at Roller England Funeral Home from 10:00 A. M. to 11:00 A. M. Graveside services will be 1:00 P. M. at Keo Cemetery. Bro. David Inzer will be officiating.

Gail and Steve,
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Maxine. She was a sweet aunt and a very good cook. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time. I hope you are all doing well, and I think of you often.
