Rebecca Brown Yoder

of Shirley, AR

May 21, 1948 - June 23, 2020

Rebecca "Brown" Yoder was born on May 21, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Ebner and Lois. She passed away on June 23, 2020 of cardiac arrest in her sleep at home.

The family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of for better medical care for her father. Rebecca was an accomplished athlete; she had the fastest track time in school. She had a passion for piano and was offered a chance to go to Julliard. She chose instead to become a nurse. She decided to become a doctor after several years of nursing. In 1985, she gave up her medical practice to become a teacher and a servant of God. Rebecca's first book was published in 1986. That led her into worldwide ministry. She has traveled extensively across continents to teach people about spiritual warfare. The Lord revealed many mysteries to her so she could teach it to His people. Rebecca has written 15 books and booklets, 5 of them were co-written with her husband, Daniel. Rebecca also recorded a set of teaching CDs. Over the years, her books have been translated into more than 20 languages.

Rebecca and Daniel met in Arizona on November 7, 1989 and were married on December 10, 1989. They moved to the Clinton, Arkansas area in 1992 and made it their home. Rebecca had a special love for animals and the country life. She raised cattle and chickens; each one had a name. Rebecca and Daniel moved to Shirley, Arkansas in 1996. They developed the property into Shiloh Valley Ranch over the course of the next four years. Rebecca wanted to spend her last days here in the valley. Her greatest wish was to be buried in the valley.

Rebecca leaves behind her husband, Daniel and many friends around the world who are mourning her loss. She poured out her life as a sacrifice to the Lord. She finished the race well. She would tell each of us to do the same and remember that someday, we will see her again and be together for eternity.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00pm., at Roller - McNutt Funeral Home - Clinton. Interment will follow at Settlement Cemetery in Shirley, Arkansas.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 66 percent of facility capacity at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

I just learned of Dr. Rebecca Browns death today about 30 minutes ago. I praise God that she fulfilled her destiny. I read 3 of her books and rejoiced that someone else understood some of the things I had been going through. I could not get anybody to believe me. Christians are the last to know. Her books brought so much enlightenment to me about spiritual warfare. In one of her books she shared that she and Elaine knew that they would be going home to be with Jesus soon. That was one time I hoped she was wrong. What a peaceful departure. My prayers are with her husband and family.

I just found out Rebecca passed away. I was sending emails and trying to reach and I did not know why they were not answering. I am sorry. But I am happy that she was a good servant of God. I like to give away books of Rebecca to family and friends and many have been blessed by them. I wish the best to Daniel and their family. I pray for Gods comfort to him. Thank you God for such a wonderful pair!

I have read Rebecca's writings since I was 8 years old and have been strongly influenced to have an intimate and deep relationship with God. In addition to being a ministerial inspiration, it also inspired the profession I chose to pursue. Today, at 24, I am a doctor who believes in Spiritual Warfare, a servant of God and my dream was to have met this incredible woman in life. eternity reserves this meeting for us. My feelings, Brother Daniel.

After accepting Jesus Chrsit as my saviour, for 12 years God lead me through Rebecca's (i love calling her mother) teachings in the website. Infact, those were my only resources other than Bible. Those newsletters encouraged me a lot to build basic foundations.
I feel so sad that I couldn't meet you here and let you know how much Lord helped me through you. But, I can meet you there. :)
Love you both. I will pray for Daniel and ministry. May God give Daniel His divine peace.

My heart is so saddened to learn sister Rebecca has passed on. I was actually looking for her website and learned about her passing. Sister Rebecca has touched my life in ways she will never know. I read her book “He came to set the captives free,” when I was 15 years old. My life changed after reading that book. I was more aware of the spiritual warfare I was facing. My firstborn son Han was stillborn October 6, 2019. I take comfort knowing sister Rebecca will be greeted by Han and they will finally know the beauty and the peace of our Savior’s love forever. Her legacy will live on. Though she is gone from this world, she is finally home with our Father in Heaven. One day I’ll get to hug my sister in Christ and tell her thank you for her courageous service to the Lord. It’s because of her dedication that I learned that I could teach my baby about the Lord in my belly through prayer and reading scriptures. It’s how I know my son loves our Lord with all his heart and soul, and he’s exactly where he wants to be....In paradise with sister Rebecca.

Peace be with the Brown and Yoder families.

Her relationship with her Lord was her testimony and her fortress where she constantly proved to the world her calling and Lordship of the Son of God in her life. and thank you too for the man of God, prophet Daniel Yoder whom without his love and support Rebecca wouldn’t have done this many achievements in the Lord’s kingdom.
