He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Leo (Ann), Anthony (Georgia), John, Jr. (Anna), sisters; Helen Valentine (Herbert), Rose Parkhill (Raymond), Ann Marsh (Venwal), Marie Zakrzewski (Sylvester) and Hattie (infant).

He leaves his loving wife of 57 Years, Elizabeth Gail Donaldson Zanoff, sons; Gregory Frank (Mary Ann) of Magnolia, Texas, Donald Joseph (Mick) of Livingston, Montana, CWO 5 Charles Andrew (Heather) of Parker, Colorado, Ramon Frederick (Leslie) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, daughter, Dana Elizabeth Nolen (Robert) of Denver, North Carolina and ten beautiful grandchildren.

He retired as a District Manager of AT&T Communications in the Bay area of California and relocated to Fairfield Bay in 1990 where he and family enjoyed many of the amenities available. After his ordination to the diaconate, he served as deacon for the parishes of St. Francis of Assisi in Fairfield Bay and St. Jude in Clinton for 21 years.

What can I say that hasn't been said about Uncle Frank. What a great man and a great Uncle. Such a great person and you could see that in him in everything that he did. I am so glad we were with him at his retirement party. He will be missed by a lot of people not only at church but by his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Gail and her family. Love you all.

Gail, I worked with Frank in the engineering dept. in Little Rock and at the Interdepartmental Training Center in Dallas. He was a class act! One of the finest men I ever knew, even if he did take all my money at the Friday night poker games at Herman Hoff's house! His memory will always highly regarded by all who knew him.

Frank has been one of my coffee buddies for almost 18 years. I am a Lutheran, but we shared my discussions about faith and Christianity. I am so saddened about losing him, but he has faced his illness this past five years with a grace and courage that has inspired me and others. There is always something that can be learned from a person such as this. The absolute best thing he repeated to me last fall was that he had been kept alive two years beyond what the doctors anticipated and he credited it not to the doctors, but to his family, his faith and his friends (which included their prayers). Rest in peace Frank.

Although I only had the honor of meeting Mr. Zanoff on a couple of occasions I do know two of his & Gail's children - Donald & Dana. Based on the outstanding character & caring nature of both of them they are a testament to the loving father, husband & Christian that he was. I know he will be deeply missed by his family & friends. God's blessing. ES

What a dear man, classy in so many ways, the least of which was as servant to his family, community, and church. He is missed of course but we are comforted by the fact that he is present with the Lord and absent from his body.
Love and comfort to Gail and all his family and friends.
