Samuel Orlando Stone, 75, originally of Elroy, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday March 29, 2020 at 3:30 am at his home in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. He was born November 6, 1944 at home in Elroy, Wisconsin, to the late Ralph Eugene and Doris Geraldine (Troyer) Stone.

He is proceded in death by his parents, a very special niece, Dawn Stone, nephews; Paul and Justin Stone, all passing away far too young.

He married Lorraine (Lori) Church on April 8, 1967, in Beloit, Wisconsin. He enjoyed people, laughing and teasing. Samuel loved his family and friends. Making friends was easy for him. He volunteered at the Storehouse Food Bank in Greers Ferry delivering food to shut ins. Samuel served in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, California. He worked for 30 years at Chrysler in Belvidere, Illinois. Samuel was always willing to help people without a thought, even the newbies.

Samuel And Lorraine belonged to the First Assembly of God Church in Greer's Ferry. They were loved and blessed by all who go there and a very caring Pastor Mark Palenske who always cared about all in his church, including Samuel.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lori, two sons; Bryan Stone , Bradley Stone, five grandchildren; Dustin, Ashley and Andrew Jones, Tatyana Meir, Sydnie Michelle Owens, five loving great-grandchildren; Jazmin, Matthew and Kaleb Wondra, Gailynn and Jordyn Timm, two loving brothers; David with wife Betty, Kent with wife Barbara, one loving sister, Mariann and husband Randall Rott, many loved nieces, nephews that were in Sam's heart always and many friends.

Samuel will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
