James Hubert Story, 84, of Clinton, Arkansas went to his heavenly home Sunday, January 5, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1935 in Culpepper, Arkansas to James (J.B.) Story and Ola Banks Story.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons; Joe Michael Story, Billy Don Story, one brother, Rex Story, and one sister, Jean Graham.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 65 years, Sammie Story, daughter, Barbara (Jim) Ashley of Maumelle, grandchildren; Samantha (Eric) Krahmer, J.B. (Karla) Story, Laura (Nathan) Looney, Katie (Jimmy) Holloway, Clark Ashley, great-grandchildren; E.J. Rolen, Haley Rolen, Andrea Krahmer, Isabella, Maggie, and Emileigh Story, Ender and Lydia Holloway, Bennett Looney, step-great-grandson, Lathen Krahmer, brother, Roy Story, sister-in-law, Linda Story, brother-in-law, Lyn Graham, and many other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and he attended at Formosa Church of Christ for many years. He loved his family and he loved the Lord. James enjoyed working out in his shop, bird hunting, and working on his farm. He served on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors for fifteen years and the Petit Jean Electric Board of Directors for thirty years, from 1979-2009.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Interment will follow in Culpepper Cemetery.

I always thought that James Story was a good man who loved God. I will always be thankful for his and Sammy's great kindness and friendship to my mother. My condolences to the family at this time. We will all miss him.

James was so important to our church family. We loved him dearly. Always a smile on his face and kind words to everyone. In spite of his health problems, he always told you he was feeling just fine.
