Waunetiah (Nita) Rogers, left this earthly world to her heavenly home on November 30, 2019 in Conway, Arkansas after a battle with cancer. She was born June 6, 1929 in San Saba, Texas to Robert E. Lee and Myrtle (Windom) Rawls. She was married to Fredrick (Fred) Rogers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Fred Rogers, daughter, Jeannie, 12 brothers and sisters, 5 grandsons, and first husband, William Patrick.
Nita was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in New Nata, Arkansas.
She was a nurse for 30+ years at various hospitals and nursing homes.
Nita was loved and respected by all who knew her. She was well known for her kindness and giving spirit. Many people have said she was a second mother to them. She was a talented individual by being known for her paintings, making doll clothes and her jewelry making. She was also an avid reader, loved doing word search and cross word puzzles. As a young mother of 5 children, she made clothes for her children.
Nita lived a good Christian life, professed her salvation by accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age.
She will be missed by her immediate family and all those that knew her.
She is survived by her three sons; Billy (Carolyn) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Kenneth (Shirley) of New Nata, Arkansas, Larry (Rita) of Mountain View, Arkansas, daughter, Shirley (David) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, son-in-law, Gary Fletcher (Jeannie's husband) of Onia, Arkansas, special niece, Patsy Madison of Texas, 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grand children, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pall Bearers are; Paul Lee Jr., Anthony Valdovinos, Chris Neff, Jake Patrick, Bradley Cates, and Reed Bradford.
Honorary Pall Bearers are; Michael Patrick, Shawn Fletcher, Bobby Rawls, Shane Avey, Cody Neff, Quinton Pemberton, Fisher Bradford and Ryan Patrick.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 10:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas. Interment is at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas
Arrangements are entrusted to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas.

So sorry for your loss. Nita was a dear dear friend to me. She was with me and took care of me when I delivered my first child. I love her dearly. I know we will see her again

A long road travelled to a very Blessed Destination. Her rewards on Earth, although Many, shall be seen many times OVER and above in Heaven.
