Georgia Maxine Walker, 87, of Shirley, Arkansas was born on September 11, 1932 in Marvell, Arkansas to the late William H. and Mary Lee (Long) Leach and went to be with her Lord on November 16, 2019 at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist near Shirley, Arkansas and was a charter member of Como Baptist Church in Illinois.
Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Delbert R. Walker, seven sisters; Mary McCombs, Lillian Clark, Clarice Welti, Christine Smith, Mamie Thompson, Emogene Marshall, Louise Long, three brothers; Wilburn Leach, Gerald Leach, and James Leach.
Left to cherish her memory are one son, Michael L. Walker of Shirley, Arkansas, two daughters; Tina M. Joel of Apache Junction, Arizona, Debra L. Vinson of Shirley, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Ryan Hasselbacher of Rock Falls, Illinois, Kei Ala Lawson of Shirley, Arkansas, Kamarcus Lawson of Shirley, Arkansas, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial visitation will be held in her honor from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. A visitation will also be held at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, Illinois Friday, November 22, 2019 6:00pm - 8:00pm . A graveside service with interment will be held at Oaknoll Cemetery in Sterling, Illinois Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 2:00pm.

She loved her family dearly and was a servant by opening her home and taking care of many of them! This world needs more servants. Prayers are with the family.

Maxine was an amazing person who loved the Lord. So very generous and hardworking. I have wonderful memories of eating delicious meals at her house. She was so good to us. Debbie, she loved you so dearly. I know this will be a very difficult time for all of you, but we know she is reunited with your dad. God bless you all.
She was a hoot to work with She had long great life remember when she moved down there invited all of us wish I could of. Meet in heaven some day
