Irene D. Ellis, of Clinton, formerly of Scotland, Arkansas was born on July 9, 1927 in Le Flore, Oklahoma to the late John Edward and Lucy (Sparks) Williams and passed from this life on October 27, 2019 in Clinton.

She worked for many years in the poultry industry and was a personal caregiver in her later years.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons; Eugene Ellis (Debra) of Alexander, Arkansas, Jim Elizagaray (Susan) of Kalispell, Montana, two daughters; Linda Clark (Ben) of Clinton, Arkansas, Charlotte Dickerson (Buddy) of Texarkana, Texas, four grandchildren; Christopher Elizagaray (Kacie), Michelle Elizagaray, Jeff Wilder, Steven Dickerson, two great grandchildren; Claire Elizagaray, Emily Elizagaray, three sisters; Donna Bratton, Bonnie Watkins, Florene Hamilton, other relatives and many friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Irene will be laid to rest at Foster Cemetery in Scotland, Arkansas.
