Ethel Faye Jared, 98, of Sidney, Arkansas, formerly of Clinton, Arkansas for 32 years, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her home in Sidney. She was born on May 24, 1920 to the late Robert and Garnet (Conley) Burcham. Ethel was a faithful member of the Old Lexington Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Howard E. Jared, two brothers; Robert Burcham, Jr. (Marge) and Bill Burcham (Shirlene).
Survivors include one sister, Shirley Bowman of Robinson, Illinois, one daughter, Phyllis Jared of Sidney, Arkansas, two sons; Robert (Bob) Jared and wife Linda of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Mike Jared and wife Sherry of Rutledge, Tennessee, ten grandchildren; Jeff Rice and wife Donna of Shirley, Arkansas, Angela Surer and husband Larry (deceased) of Wheeler, Indiana, Michelle Downing and husband Rodney of Sidney, Arkansas, Jennifer Brooks and husband James of Van Buren, Arkansas, Jodi Torix and husband Jerry of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Jill Henry and husband Martin of Owasso, Oklahoma, Robert Jared II and wife Jamie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Missy Cottingham and husband Tim of Lowell, Indiana, Jimmy Jared and wife Vickie of Lowell, Indiana, Sean Jared of Rogersville, Tennessee, sixteen great grandchildren; Dillon Rice, Tiffany Surer, Landon Downing, Jared Downing, Mason Lamb, Launa Moore, Braden Moore, Joanna Fowler, Lillian Brooks, Cassity Torix, Forrest Torix, Ashton Torix, Cory Gulley, Jason Gulley, Jared Cottingham, Josh Jared, Jamie Jared, twelve great - great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Old Lexington Baptist Church, 9523 AR-110, Clinton, Arkansas. Burial will take place at the Old Lexington Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are; Jeff Rice, Little Bob Jared, Landon Downing, Rodney Downing, Jerry Torix and Martin Henry.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers you may make offerings to the Old Lexington Baptist Church, 9523 AR-110, Clinton, Arkansas.

I am so sorry that Dakota and I can't physically be there to see you off to your new, beautiful, forever home. So many that love you have been waiting, so I find comfort in that. I love you and will see you again. Until then🌹

I loved growing up with Ms. Ethel at Lexington. She was always a positive and fun role-model. My prayers are with her family during this time.
