Richard Douglas (Pete) Brenner 1932-2019.
Pete passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 while in the Conway, Arkansas hospital. He was born in Dixon, Illinois, April 4, 1932, the son of Darrell and Clara (Steder) Brenner Sr.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra on March 5, 2019. He is also preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Pete graduated from Dixon High School Class of 1950. He was retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation after 27 years. Pete married Sandra Emmert on June 26, 1963. He had been living in Dennard, AR, near his grandson, Ted (Angel) Vickery and their three children.
Pete leaves behind two daughters and two grandsons from a previous marriage, brothers: Robert (Judy), Darrell (Donna) and many nieces and nephews.
A special ''Thank you.'' to Theresa Watts and her husband for all their help.
A memorial service and interment will take place at a later date, in Grand Detour, Illinois.
